Established in August 2016, St. Jude’s Arts and Science College is a private unaided institution located in Vellarikundu, Kasaragod district, Kerala. Affiliated with Kannur University, the college was founded to fulfill the long-cherished dream of the local community to have a center for higher education in the region.
With a student strength of 196 and a dedicated faculty of 18 members, the college emphasizes value-based education, aiming to uplift students from all communities, especially the underprivileged and tribal populations in the area.
The institution operates under the patronage of His Grace Rt. Rev. Dr. George Njaralakattu, the Archbishop of the Thalassery Diocese. Rev. Fr. Joseph Antony Thekkemuriyil, a visionary in social service and education, serves as the Manager. The founding Principal is Prof. P.K. John, a retired Associate Professor and former Head of the Department of English at Nirmalagiri College. St. Jude’s Arts and Science College is committed to fostering academic excellence and holistic development, preparing students to meet the challenges of the modern world with competence and integrity.
